Co-Working Space

Until further notice our offices, prototyping spaces and co-working spaces are closed. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Centre for Entrepreneurship soon and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work together to safeguard the health and safety of our communities.

Banting Institute

The Centre for Entrepreneurship has newly renovated, dedicated co-working space for Arts & Science ventures in the Banting Institute building.

Located at 100 College Street, it is a one-minute walk from Queen’s Park subway station and the 506 Carlton streetcars; and a 6-minute walk from College subway station. College Street features a dedicated bicycle lane and plentiful bicycle stands are available at the entrance to the building. Campus Pay & Display and permit parking is located on-site for after-hours and weekend parking, with many other parking facilities nearby.

Applications for co-working space are not currently being accepted.

Schwartz Reisman Innovation Campus

Currently under construction, the Schwartz Reisman Innovation Campus will accelerate innovation in Toronto and Canada by creating the country’s largest university-based innovation node (Rendering by WEISS/MANFREDI in collaboration with Teeple Architects, Inc.)

In 2023, the Centre for Entrepreneurship will occupy a next-generation space on the 6th floor of the new Schwartz Reisman Innovation Campus West. The dedicated 6,500 square foot space will include private offices, meeting rooms, co-working space, and prototyping labs.

The building is the product of a historic $100 million donation to the university by Gerald Schwartz and Heather Reisman. Once completed, the 750,000-square-foot SRIC West will serve as a focal point in the region for artificial intelligence (AI), entrepreneurship, and the development of disruptive innovations. It will support the U of T’s vision to contribute to the study of the ethical use and implications of novel technologies in a fast-changing world.

Until the new space is constructed, the Centre for Entrepreneurship continues to operate from dedicated space at 60 St. George Street, and the Banting Institute at 100 College Street.
