Exploring New Ventures 

ENT391

Gain hands-on experience with an early-stage startup! This experiential learning course combines lectures and a part-time internship. You'll explore the inner workings of new ventures and gain valuable skills. 

To apply for ENT391, you must meet the following requirements: 

  • 9.0 credits in any subject 

  • ENT200H1/RSM100H1/MGT100H1 

  • This course cannot be taken if you have already completed: IMC390Y1, IMC391H1, or IMC392Y1

Creating New Ventures 

ENT392

Do you have a venture idea you're ready to bring to market? In this hands-on course, you'll develop your idea into a complete business model and pitch it to a panel of experienced entrepreneurs. 

To apply for ENT392, you must meet the following requirements: 

  • 9.0 credits in any subject, including one of ENT200H1/RSM100H1/MGT100H1 

Application Deadline: October 27, 2024 @ 11:59 PM

*ENT392 and ENT391 cannot be taken concurrently. If you intend to apply for both courses, please ensure that you take them in different semesters 


The Centre for Entrepreneurship offers a series of 'core' entrepreneurship courses. Other courses related to innovation and entrepreneurship are offered to students at the undergraduate level by specific Arts & Science departments as listed below.

They are specifically designed to be open to students from across the breadth of the Faculty of Arts & Science creating the opportunity for students from diverse disciplinary backgrounds to engage in robust learning from both the scholarly and experiential lenses.
