Founded by Mark Ang (BCom 2017), GoBolt helps pave the way for carbon-neutral logistics in the fashion industry

Frank And Oak, a Montreal-based sustainable fashion brand, and GoBolt, a Toronto-based technology company building the first sustainable and vertically integrated supply chain network, today announced they have formed a strategic partnership to offer carbon-neutral same-day and next-day deliveries, beginning with Canadian shoppers. In the initial phase, Frank And Oak’s customers in major markets will have their packages delivered by GoBolt’s electric vehicles (EV) or, when an EV is not possible, carbon offsets will be calculated and purchased. As GoBolt rolls out its full fleet by the end of 2023, all deliveries in GoBolt’s Canadian and U.S. markets will be made by electric vehicles.

“At the core of our philosophy at Frank And Oak and Unified Commerce Group is a commitment to sustainability, innovation, and superior customer experience,” said Dustin Jones, Chief Executive Officer of Frank And Oak. “Once we met Mark Ang (BCom 2017) and his team at GoBolt, we knew we had found a partner with shared values and with whom we can innovate together. Like Frank And Oak, GoBolt is a purpose-driven Canadian company with global potential, and we look forward to working together to inspire our industry, to delight our customers while having a positive impact on the planet.”

“Responsible leadership calls for considering how the decisions we make today will impact the environment tomorrow,” said Mark Ang, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of GoBolt. “Frank And Oak is an incredible brand as sustainability is not just an afterthought, it’s at the core of how they operate and create products. With this partnership, we can do even more to demonstrate that sustainability and an intelligent logistics system can be a competitive advantage and beneficial to the environment at the same time.”
